Enhancing Fertilizer Supply Chain Efficiency
As reported by international industry media, we have recently completed a fertilizer terminal project at Constanta Port in Romania for UMEX SA, one of the leading port operators and logistics experts. This facility marks a significant achievement, showcasing Cimbria's expertise in grain, seed, and fertilizer processing and storage solutions. The multifunctional warehouse will help improve fertilizer availability amid increasing supply chain disruptions.
The new fertilizer terminal is designed to ensure high efficiency and optimal material handling.
Key features of this impressive facility include:
- Storage Capacity: Manages up to 66,000 tons of bulk fertilizer
- Automation: Equipped with automated filling systems to optimize loading and unloading
- Efficiency: Facilitates multiple transshipment flows between trucks, trains, and ships
Located just 700 meters from the new and advanced grain handling facility provided by Cimbria, the terminal strengthens Constanta Port's critical role as a transshipment hub, connecting Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and the Far East. With over 67 million tons of cargo handled annually, the port is essential in addressing global supply chain challenges, particularly for grains and fertilizers.
