Zoffoli Metalli: At the Forefront of Metal Recycling with Cimbria SEA Optical Sorting

In the industrial material recycling field, Zoffoli Metalli stands out as an excelling beacon, distinguished by its unwavering commitment to innovation and quality processes. At the heart of this technological advancement is the Cimbria SEA Optical Sorter, which has radically transformed the quality of recycling and the supply conditions to the market.

Our advanced optical sorting technology, equipped with state-of-the-art RGB cameras and industry-specific algorithms, enables extremely precise separation of non-magnetic metals such as copper, brass, and aluminium from other metals (zinc, lead, stainless steel, etc.), as well as from foreign materials like plastics, rubber, and other inert substances.

Our optical sorters allow for the production of a high-value-added product, achieving significantly higher yield rates than when impure and non-homogeneous materials were supplied. Today, the purity level of the selected product approaches 100%, meeting the most stringent requirements of refineries and foundries while maintaining consistent quality over time.

Cimbria SEA Optical Sorters' robustness is ensured by reinforced components in the most wear-prone areas. They are designed to withstand the most challenging operational demands and can deliver consistent mechanical performance even after hundreds of thousands of hours of operation.

Cimbria SEA Optical Sorting technology is particularly efficient in processing various particle sizes, from coarse to fine, including 1 mm capillary wire batches. The effectiveness of the sorting process is enhanced by the use of high-power solenoid valves, standard in sorters designed for the metals sector.

Zoffoli Metalli has implemented a five-channel optical sorter for multiple product passes. This dual-section configuration allows the company to produce multiple streams of superior-quality products, ensuring continuous and versatile production efficiency.

By strategically integrating an optical sorter configured specifically for metal recycling, Zoffoli Metalli has optimized its processes and set a new benchmark for quality and reliability, reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry.
